Type RC – REVERSE CIRCULATION PUMP (SINGLE STAGE AMMONIA PUMP)

The objective of this page is to lay down a standard procedure for performance tests of Canned Motor Centrifugal Pumps at our test facility.
Due to rising costs in both the running of pumps and energy, it has become increasingly important to assess and ensure the accurate performance of a pump unit prior to installation. A pump forms an integral part of a plant, however should the pump fail to perform this could result in unnecessary and often costly losses in production. As a result, it has become common practice for purchasers of pump equipment to specify performance testing prior to installation on site.
The tests to be carried out at the facility will conform, primarily, to the requirements laid down in ISO 9906 for Grade -2 testing. The most recent version of this standard will be the guiding conformance document for the test set up. The test set up has been prepared to conform also to ANSI standards for testing of horizontal and vertical Canned Motor Centrifugal Pumps.

Type FCAM (MULTISTAGE AMMONIA PUMP)

The FCAM type pump have a series of small impellers mounted directly on the motor shaft from 3 to 6 depending on the head requirement of the refrigeration system. The pump is specially used in Sea food freezing plant refrigeration with low NSPH available.The design also helps enables space saving by installing the pump directly under the low-pressure vessel with a suction of minimum up to 0.6m.
